Objectives/Brief
Fourteen Ten worked with The Palm restaurants in 2013 managing the UK arm of their social media, publicity and online reputation.
The Palm specialise in Prime aged steak, jumbo Nova Scotia lobsters and Italian heritage dishes that have been on the menu since 1926 when founders Pio Bozzi and John Ganzi opened the first Palm in New York City.
A much loved family owned restaurant group stateside, their London restaurant was launched in 2009 as their first venture outside of America. Their London Belgravia located restaurant received a considerable amount of unfavourable press at launch.
Taking on board those comments and European tastes The Palm adapted their service style and completely refurbished the restaurant in 2012 to create a more toned down establishment. Previously the restaurant walls were adorned with celebrity caricatures a signature from their history.
Strategy
Over the course of a year Fourteen Ten promoted a series of press events and consumer promotions at The Palm alongside managing their social media channels. We wanted to re-introduce London based food and wine writers to The Palm and reinvigorate interest and reasons to come to the restaurant.
