Their Story
Running for 16 years the eponymous attraction was loved by locals and tourists alike offering three parts for visitors; Fire Bar and Summer Terrace, ICEBAR London and food offering Yuu Kitchen @ ICEBAR.
ICEBAR London’s fifteenth and final installation was created by sculpting, chipping and carving a staggering 30 tonnes of ice to create the mystical norse theme. Visitors also look the part in the classic fur-lined cape and gloves like a true Viking to keep out the cold of the constant -5 degrees.
The Fire Bar sits within ICEBAR London and received a complete refurb in celebration of the venue’s 15th birthday. The bar offered guests an extensive list of unusual and delicious cocktails to enjoy within a dramatic setting with a backdrop of real flames. The venue also boasted a beautiful Summer Terrace for guests to sit and relax within the bustling bars and restaurant of Heddon Street.
Yuu Kitchen @ ICEBAR London was the third site for Head Chef Jon de Villa, previously of Nobu London, who has created a menu inspired by his Filipino
heritage and travels across the Pacific Rim and Asia.
