We are delighted to announce that Chef Dominique Ansel is bringing his beloved Pie Night to London for the very first time marking the start of autumn (and pie season) at Dominique Ansel Bakery London.
The event takes place on the 24th and 25th of October and pre-booking for tickets will launch next Friday October 5th at midday.
In New York tickets sell out within two minutes and with we expect this event will be as popular as diners can enjoy unlimited slices of ten different pies (both sweet and savoury) along with a Sparkling Apple Cider cocktail that’ll be topped up throughout the night, a server hand-scooping Tahitian Vanilla ice-cream at tables as well as a few surprises on the night.
Savoury Pies include Slow-Cooked Beef Cheek and Port Cottage Pie with Golden Parmesan and Rosemary Mash, a vegetarian Wild Mushroom, Leek and Artichoke Pie with Crème Fraîche, Roasted Garlic and Thyme and the London classic Ale-Braised Steak & Rock Oyster Pie.
Sweet pies include Salted Caramel Harvest Apple Pie, indulgent Nutella Angel Cream Pie with Whipped Sour Cream Mousse and an autumnal Pomegranate-Poached Quince & Elderflower Pie with Toasted Cobnut Crumble. Please see below for a full list of all ten pies.

Pie Night is a tradition that first started at Dominique Ansel Kitchen in New York four years ago and it’s finally making its debut here in London.

“Pie Night is one of my favourite traditions each year in New York. We first started it 4 years ago at Dominique Ansel Kitchen in the West Village, and for us, it marks the start of autumn (which, for a pastry chef and bakery, is also pie season). That fall, our team went on an apple picking trip to an orchard in New Jersey, and we ended up picking more than a hundred pounds of apples. And it got us thinking about pies and what we could do with all of these apples. So many of our team members told me about memories they had of baking pies with their families during the fall and holidays – from sweet pies like classic apple pie and key lime pie, to savoury pies like chicken pot pie and shepherd’s pie. Some had pie crust recipes handed down from their grandparents, and I realised that pies are a family memory that we all can remember, sitting around the dinner table eating together, no matter where we’re from. So we’re excited to bring Pie Night to Dominique Ansel Bakery London for the very first time this October and for it to become a tradition here in London too.”
