We are delighted to announce the launch of Nature Shift; a food agency focused on bringing snacking foods to market to help consumers make the shift to something more natural when looking for a treat.

The young company was founded on the premise of the personal requirement to enjoy a treat while avoiding artificial ingredients and shift to something more natural.

Under their ‘Nature Shift’ umbrella they have searched for brands with the clear objective that they must be ethically sourced, plant-based, organic, not contain artificial flavours and colourings made with real ingredients. Consumers are snacking more and with 93% of UK adults enjoying a snack and 63% of these snacking at least once a day the requirement for more choice is becoming more prevalent.

The ultimate goal being to help others make the same shift towards a more natural product by representing a range of fun, innovative, good value and great tasting alternatives to classic confectionary.

Nature Shift insists on a small SRP providing products to retailers that takes up a small and therefore efficient space allowing a cost-effective way of targeting consumers who are part of the increased snacking habit.

The first brand to be launched by Nature Shift are the Not Guilty range of sweets that “taste good and do good”. As well as being vegan, organic and gluten-free a percentage of sales goes to charity being a proud member of ‘1% For The Planet’ initiative.

These are millennial-conscious in both dietary preference, branding, and flavour; Berry Good (mixed red fruit), Mi Colazon (cola), Be My Love (pomegranate), Lovely Tender (mixed fruit).

The sweets have a melt in the mouth texture that is unusual for vegan sweets because of the specific combination of pectin and fruit extracts, with Be My Love as the most popular choice following market testing.

Not Guilty is expected in stores from May following distribution from Suma (delivers over 7000 vegetarian, natural, responsibly sourced products to businesses and communities across the UK and internationally), Tree of Life (UK’s largest wholesale distributor of healthy, natural and organic products) and Marigold (carry 4,000 lines of vegetarian foods which 60% are certified as organic).

Future developments for Not Guilty include the launch of a sour range in winter.

Sizing and prices are 50g rrp £1.25 and 100g rrp £1.99 with Berry Good is only available in 100g.

New products to be launched by Nature Shift this coming year include Fairtrade snacking chocolate that comes in three flavours.
