About Nouaison Gin

Nouaison is a taste of history, inspired from an original gin recipe from 1495, the oldest gin recipe known to exist, that used grape to create gin. Made by Maison Villevert in France Nouaison is part of the G’Vine family of drinks; a selection of gins made using grape not grain. Instead of the traditional use of grain such as wheat and barley, this gin is made with grapes which results in a more fresh, smooth and rounded taste.  Nouaison Gin is created from French grapes and perfectly finished with a symphony of 14 plants. These botanicals include classics like juniper berries, cardamom, ginger and other more sophisticated notes such as sandalwood, bergamot, plum, Java pepper and vetiver. This unique combination gives Nouaison Gin a multifaceted profile that’s herbal, spicy and woody. Balanced and herbal on the nose with sweet exotic spices, oranges, floral, notes in taste with a full boodied smooth finish. Nouaison Gin exists to be an alternative to strong classic London dry gins. The perfect serve is in a Negroni and it also brings character and elegance and enhances the quality of all classic cocktails as well as in signature cocktails.
