Melange Chocolate Shop & Café in Peckham are working with Virginia based Catoctin Creek Distilling Company to create a unique rye whisky and chocolate experience. The Creek Cocktail and The Creek Truffles, made with the eclectic combination of whisky, chocolate, mint and cumin are available at the newly opened The Melange bar in Peckham or via UK-wide delivery (truffles only).

A Gift for Chocolate and Whisky Lovers
Following a blind tasting the British Bourbon Society selected Single Estate, Finca Garyth, Ecuador, 70% Dark Chocolate from Suffolk-based bean to bar chocolatier Tosier to pair perfectly with Sagamore Double Oak Rye. To celebrate World Chocolate Day each purchase of Sagamore Double Oak Rye will come with a free bar of chocolate which perfectly compliments the whisky.
Dark & Pear
40 ml June Royal Pear & Cardamom
20 ml Vodka
5 ml Lime Juice
20 ml Egg White
Add ice and all the ingredients in a shaker and shake vigorously, strain into a frozen coupette glass and grate chocolate (or use powder) on half the surface.

40 ml Chairman’s Forgotten Casks Rum
5 ml Fernet Branca
5 ml Pedro Ximenez
2 Dashes of Chocolate Bitters
Pour in a mixing glass filled with ice and stir. Serve in a tumbler glass with an ice and garnish with grapefruit
